Handcrafted "Ocean Sunset" ceramic mug / stein from Meghan Bergman Ceramics. Hand thrown, with white stoneware, and fired in an electric kiln. Larger 20 oz size perfect for coffee or sipping your favorite brews.

APPROXIMATE DIMENSIONS: 4" L x 5.5" W x 5.5"H. Inside is 3” at the opening and holds approximately 20 fluid oz.

Whether you raise a glass as a beer, tea or coffee lover, shopping for yourself, or looking for a unique gift, all ceramic drinkware featured is made for everyday use with food safe glazes that are also safe for use in your dishwasher and microwave.

This handmade mug/ stein starts as a single ball of clay, and is thrown tall on the potter's wheel. Finishing touches are added and are inspired by nature. Gentle curves around the foot mimic the movement of the ocean or a stingray, and serve as a function to catch the drippy glazes. The bottom is cut using a wire, which looks like a 'fingerprint'.

After drying, the piece is bisque fired, then multiple glazes are applied and layered, and the piece is fired a second time in the kiln to transform into a final work of art.

Each purchase supports a proud small business owner! Treat yourself to handmade ceramics, or find the perfect gift.

The time I need to prepare an order for shipping is 1-2 business days. Orders received by 10pm EST are typically sent out the next business day for pickup by the shipping carrier.
